Sometimes I wish I understood men
Someone really needs to show me how
Cause I honestly believe
I could use a little help right now!

Say what you mean
and mean what you say
Don't tell me you're interested
Then turn and walk away!

I don't understand men
I wish I could
Cause if I did then maybe
Life would be good

More than just words
Are honestly, love and trust
There has to be more out there
Than lies, hurt and lust

Someday I hope that I will look back
And laugh at all this and see
That it was just a process
To get me where I should be

Someday I surely hope
There will be a happy ending
Someone will see the good in me
And my heart they will be mending
